About us

The Heritage Collections Advisory Group (HCAG) is an informal network of individuals and organisations with a shared belief in the importance of heritage collections, expertise and research in libraries, archives and museums.

Executive Board

Our Executive Board comprises individual experts and representatives of sector organisations. The Chair of the Board cycles between the current membership.

Vacancies

We are actively seeking new people to get involved in the work of the Group – both as Executive Board members and affiliated organisations or individuals. To find out more, please contact us at administrator@heritagecollections.org.uk.

Affiliated organisations/individuals

We welcome participation from affiliated organisations or individuals in our work.

Affiliated organisations and individuals receive regular updates about our activities and are able to contribute to confidential discussions within the group about current developments in the sector.

Affiliation does not constitute endorsement of the statements or activities of the Group (see below).

Representation

As an informal network, support for the activities and statements of the Heritage Collections Advisory Group (HCAG) is on an ‘opt-in’ basis. Involvement in or association with the Group should not be taken as endorsement of these activities or statements.
